Saving Tiger Woods, stranded with Hezbollah, counterterrorism, confronting a coup d’état, living in the midst of a civil war and establishing security in Libya during Col. Gaddafi’s dictatorial reign, are some topics that will be shared by author Robert W. Starnes, on May 17, from 5-7 p.m., at the Mochas Javas coffee house on Wonder Wold Drive.

“Dictators and Diplomats, A Special Agent’s Memoir and Musings,” published by Nobility Press, offers a peek behind the veil of international security and lends historical perspectives never before shared, while honoring the men and women of civilian law enforcement and uniformed military services.

Known for his expertise in counterterrorism, counterintelligence, investigations and protective security, Starnes has protected notable dignitaries such as Nelson Mandela, Mikhail Gorbachev, Prince Charles and Margaret Thatcher.

Aspiring writers are encouraged to join Robert W. Starnes for questions and answers session about his literary and publishing journey at the Mochas Javas coffee house at 102 Wonder World Drive, Ste. 406, on Thursday for a book reading and signing by the author.
