Downtown swing festival offers free entertainment

This year’s Downtown Swing festival kicked off last night, but the fun continues this evening and through the weekend. All events are free.

Tonight, the Hot Texas Swing Band will perform at AquaBrew from 7 to 9. On Saturday, The Swingettes will perform at The San Marcos Farmer’s Market from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and The Eric Gerber Three will play at the Art Squared Art Market from 1 to 3 p.m. Big Cedar Fever will perform at Root Cellar Bakery from 8 to 10 p.m., and Stonewall Warehouse will hold a Dolly Parton Tribute and Look-a-like contest from 10 to 11 p.m. On Sunday, Milktoast Millie and The Haberdashers will be at Buzz Mill from 11 a.m to 2 p.m., and Trio Del Rio will be at The Price Center during those same hours.
